Jesús Arnau Yáñez is a senior policy advisor and telecommunications engineer with experience in spectrum policy making and licensing, modelling of complex communications systems and multilateral negotiations.
For 7 years Jesús worked at Ofcom, the UK telecommunications regulator. As a principal policy advisor he led the international and technical work on fixed-satellite service topics and contributed to national spectrum policies across different sectors. He also served as chairman of the CEPT project team dedicated to space compatibility issues.
Before joining the regulations world, Jesús obtained a PhD in signal processing for communications and worked as a research engineer in physical layer technologies for satellite and terrestrial communications systems.
