Senior Director International Space Affairs
Estephania Flores Aguilar is a telecommunications engineer with a
robust technical professional background. Estephania worked in Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), where she specialized in satellite communications.
Her roles included developing IFT contributions for international forums, conducting technical analysis and coordinating
international interference for satellite systems. She also actively participated in World Radiocommunication Conferences and CITEL meetings.
In 2024, Estephania joined Purpose Partners as Director of International Space Services. In this position, she provides strategic advice on technological and regulatory matters related to clients. Her work also involves developing relationships with
telecommunications regulators across the Americas and the Caribbean. Estephania's passion for the field of space communications is made evident by the several high-profile conferences and workshops where she has participated. She has also published several technical papers contributing to the body of knowledge in satellite communications and
6G non-terrestrial networks. She holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, Canada, and a Master's in Administrative Informatics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), alongside a degree in Telecommunications Engineering. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
